Q. I’m really interested in purchasing a fantasia ceiling fan. I notice that some come with remote controls and some with pull cords. What’s the advantage of a remote control.

 

A. Good question. Some of our ceiling fans such as the Mayfair range come as standard with pull cord operation, as an optional extra a remote control can be added. A remote control is a very useful extra as you don’t have to go to the fan each time you want to change the speed. This is all controlled by the remote handset. Additionally the remote control will also operate the light on the fan. As well as the on/off function the remote control also provides a dimming function.

On our low energy models (available exclusively with remote control) the remote control also offer the option of reverseing the blade direction from the handset.

As you can see, the remote control not only makes your life easier but also adds functionality to your ceiling fan.
